Rings is a 2017 American supernatural psychological horror film directed by F. Javier Gutiérrez, written by David Loucka, Jacob Aaron Estes, and Akiva Goldsman. Starring Matilda Lutz, Alex Roe, Johnny Galecki and Vincent D'Onofrio. It is the third film in The Ring series and takes place thirteen years after The Ring (2002). Principal photography began on March 23, 2015, in Atlanta. The film was released in the United States on February 3, 2017, was panned by critics and has grossed $67 million worldwide.
