Starring Matilda Lutz, Alex Roe, Johnny Galecki and Vincent D'Onofrio. It is the third film in The Ring series and takes place thirteen years after The Ring (2002). Principal photography began on March 23, 2015, in Atlanta. The film was released in the United States on February 3, 2017, was panned by critics and has grossed $67 million worldwide.
